We know that the rainbow is the reminder of God’s promise
To Noah never to flood the entire earth again.
But what makes the colors we see?
It takes two things to make a rainbow: sunlight and raindrops.
Sunlight is made of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo (dark blue) and violet light.
When the sun shines through raindrops,
The light is bent and separated into colors,
Then we see the beautiful rainbow.
Did you know?
