Want a fun breakfast treat?
Make
Pop Eyes
You need:
2 or 3 slices bread
Eggs
Butter or margarine
Pancake syrup
Non-stick Skillet

Be sure to ask permission before cooking.

To make:
Cut a hole in center of each bread slice with a small glass or biscuit cutter.

Place a small pat of butter in non-stick skillet over medium heat.
When melted, place bread slice in skillet. Carefully break egg into hole. When egg turns white around the yolk, carefully turn over and let cook until the yolk is done but still soft in the middle.

Remove to plate and repeat with remaining bread slices. After all pop eyes are cooked, butter the holes and toast in skillet.

Drizzle syrup over pop eyes or eat plain. Jam on holes finishes your treat.
I’m hungry!!
